1. Our Approach

EstateLoop uses account checks, identity verification (KYC), listing review, and freshness signals to reduce spam, impersonation, and low-quality inventory. These are risk-reduction measures, not guarantees. EstateLoop does not physically inspect every property or conduct legal title searches.

You should always independently verify a property, seller, and documents before paying money or signing agreements. See our Listing Policy and Terms of Service.

2. Verification Types

Listing review	Manual or automated review of listing content, photos, and policy compliance before or after publication	Physical condition of property; accuracy of every claim; RERA compliance

Verification badges or labels reflect only the specific checks above. They may be removed if information changes or a violation is found.

3. What "Verified" Does Not Mean

A "verified" user or listing on EstateLoop does not mean:

title is guaranteed or ownership is guaranteed
legal due diligence has been completed by EstateLoop
RERA registration or approval is guaranteed
the property was physically inspected by EstateLoop unless explicitly stated
the seller's identity is guaranteed beyond the stated verification process
a transaction will complete successfully
the listing price is fair or the property is free of defects

4. Scam Warnings

Be alert to common real-estate scams, including:

Advance-fee fraud — requests for token money, "booking fees", or deposits before you have verified the property and seller
Fake listings — stolen photos, below-market prices, urgency pressure, or refusal to meet in person
Impersonation — someone posing as the owner, society office, or EstateLoop support
OTP / PIN theft — never share OTPs, UPI PINs, passwords, or full bank details in chat
Off-platform payment traps — instructions to pay unknown personal accounts without written agreement or site visit

EstateLoop will never ask for your UPI PIN or password. Support communication comes from official channels such as support@estateloop.in.

5. Safer Property Searching

Visit the property in person before paying any token, deposit, or rent
Independently verify ownership documents, title, and encumbrances with a qualified lawyer
Check society, building, and municipal approvals where relevant
Prefer traceable payments and written agreements with clear terms
Never pay unknown parties solely because a listing appeared on EstateLoop
Compare listings across sources and be sceptical of deals that seem too good to be true
Use in-app chat for initial contact but do not share sensitive financial credentials

6. Reporting Workflow

If you see a suspicious listing or user:

In the app — use Report on the listing or profile where available, or block the user in chat
By email — write to support@estateloop.in with subject "Safety report", including the listing URL or ID, screenshots, and what concerns you
Do not send money while a report is pending — wait until you have independently verified the property
Follow up — we review reports as promptly as practicable and may hide listings, request corrections, suspend accounts, or refer matters to authorities where appropriate
